Creusabro® steels are genuinely different than classic low-alloyed martensitic plates, as they combine several metallurgical concepts, designed to provide the optimum combination of wear resistance, controlled hardness and processing ability for the most severe operating conditions:
- Tough Ni-Cr-Mo steel (impact resistance)
- Uniform Through Hardened plate (alloying and ‘soft quenching’)
- Fine dispersion of micro-carbides (resistance to Slide Abrasion)
- Surface Work Hardening (‘TRIP effect’)
- Titanium Carbides Reinforcement (for Creusabro® Dual)
